Join the Greater Chapin Chamber of Commerce, Lexington County Economic Development and the SC SBDC for an informative session on government contracting. This seminar is for small business owners who want to learn the basics of winning awards in government contracting.
The speaker, Scott Bellows (SC SBDC), has 35+ years experience as a former federal procurement officer in the Middle East and in the Caribbean. Having awarded contracts to businesses, Scott is aware of what businesses need to do in order to win the awards. He will explain how certifications (VOSB, SDVOSB, WOSB, MOSB, HUB Zones, etc) can win contracts. Scott will also touch on the use of the government bid process in disaster recovery.
