with Keith Huggins
Keith Huggins is a Regional Vice President for Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc., based in Columbia, SC where he has worked for 23 years in various sales and leadership roles.  He also serves an Adjunct Professor at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina where he facilitates a senior business major elective in Selling Strategies and Business Development.

A graduate of The Citadel, Keith is married to Laura H. Huggins (owner of the Chapin Law Firm of Laura H. Huggins, LLC) and they have lived in the Chapin community for 16 years where they are raising their three daughters (Mary Frances - 15, Annalise - 13 & Kate - 9).

Renowned leadership thought leader Peter Drucker once said, "CULTURE EATS STRATEGY FOR BREAKFAST".  In short, a company can have a market-winning strategy or offer an industry-leading product or service, but without an engaged group of employees to deploy it, the strategy can essentially be impotent.  Have you ever wondered why employees of some companies so freely and consistently offer their discretionary effort doing things for a customer that are likely well-beyond their job description, after their "quitting time" or even away from their workplace altogether?  Chances are, these employees understand and identify with the culture of their company.  A company culture that encourages such engagement with co-workers, vendors, and clients can transcend the market place by creating customer and employee loyalty.  This loyalty may, in many cases, allow one to charge a premium for their good or service.  As Chick-Fil-A founder Truett Cathy wisely said, "there will always be a market for the best".
